Bath Philharmonic Orchestra has launched two new ticket offers for its 2026/27 season, including the chance for people who have never experienced a live orchestra before to attend for free.
Bath Phil Discover offers a free ticket to anyone taking their first steps into live orchestral music, with no previous knowledge or experience needed.
Meanwhile, Bath Phil Explore offers £6 tickets for selected concerts to people who have already experienced Bath Philharmonic, making it more affordable to return and discover different composers, musicians and styles of orchestral music. A £1.50 per-order processing fee applies.
The new offers are part of Bath Philharmonic Orchestra’s continuing work to make live orchestral music accessible to more people across Bath and the surrounding area. They follow the orchestra’s Bath Phil for Free initiative, which distributed more than 3,000 free tickets to households across Bath and North East Somerset last year.
Five concerts at The Forum
Bath Philharmonic’s 2026/27 season includes five concerts at The Forum in Bath, bringing together more than 50 professional musicians alongside some of the world’s leading classical performers.
Artists appearing during the season include pianists Mariam Batsashvili, Jeneba Kanneh-Mason and Alexandra Dariescu, violinist Esther Yoo, cellist Guy Johnston and soprano Sophie Bevan.
The programme ranges from major orchestral works to brand-new music, as well as performances celebrating the voices and experiences of Young Carers.
Simone Homes, Executive Director of Bath Philharmonic Orchestra, said, “There’s no right or wrong way to experience a concert – you don’t need to know the composers or understand classical music. Come and discover a new experience. And if you’ve been before, no Bath Phil concert is the same. Come back and explore the music, musicians and experiences that speak to you.”
Bath Philharmonic Orchestra combines professional orchestral performances across the South West with year-round creative projects designed to give people of all ages opportunities to experience, make and share music.
