Wiltshire-based law firm Goughs Solicitors has announced a new Charity of the Year partnership, pledging its support to Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance from April 2026.
The charity, based in Semington, provides critical lifesaving care across Wiltshire and Bath, operating by both helicopter and critical care cars. From its airbase, the team can reach anywhere in the region in just 11 minutes.
Each year, Goughs selects a charity through a firm-wide process, with colleagues helping to choose a cause that reflects the communities in which they live and work. Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance was chosen for its vital role supporting local people in emergencies.
As an independent charity, Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance relies entirely on public donations to continue its work. Over the next 12 months, the Goughs team will take part in a wide range of fundraising activities, alongside volunteering opportunities, to help raise essential funds.
Plans already include a busy calendar of events, with staff taking on challenges such as half marathons, 10Ks, a sprint triathlon and cycling events. Activities are already underway as part of a ‘Spring into Action’ fundraising push.
Upcoming events include London Landmarks Half Marathon and Brighton Marathon on 12 April, Corsham 10k on 26 April, a sprint triathlon and Bristol 10k on 10 May, Semington Slog 10k on 16 May, and Tour de Trowbridge on 31 May.
