Goughs Solicitors is celebrating a successful year of fundraising and support for a local family charity that helps parents through some of life’s toughest moments.
Goughs has raised £6,160 for Home-Start North Wiltshire over the past year, while also helping to raise awareness of the charity’s vital work with families across the county.
Home-Start North Wiltshire has been supporting families with young children for more than 35 years, offering practical and emotional help to those who need an extra hand.
The partnership, which began in April 2025, has seen Goughs’ team take part in a range of initiatives designed to make a real difference locally.
One of the standout moments was a Teddy Bears’ Picnic in Melksham during the summer holidays, bringing families together for a free day of fun, food and connection.
Children were given teddy bears to take home, while parents had the chance to relax and enjoy time together in a welcoming environment.
Alongside larger events, Goughs supported the charity through thoughtful gestures across the year, including Mother’s Day gifts for mums and ‘thank you’ presents for volunteers during Volunteers’ Week.

Through a range of fundraising events, they raised an incredible £6,160 for Home Start North Wiltshire, and we are hugely grateful for their support.
“Goughs’ fundraising helped us support 185 families across Wiltshire and 322 children. It has been a real pleasure to partner with Goughs. Their commitment, enthusiasm and kindness have helped make a lasting difference to local families facing challenging times. Thank you, Goughs, for everything.”

For the current partnership year, Goughs is supporting Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance.
