MF Dance is opening a new school in Trowbridge, offering weekly classes designed to help children develop their dance skills while building confidence, resilience and teamwork.
The new classes will launch at Castle Mead School on Saturday 3 October, with sessions taking place every Saturday. Classes will include Minis for children aged three to six from 9.30am-10.15am, followed by Juniors for children aged seven and over from 10.30am-11.30am.

MF Dance is part of the wider MF organisation created by Matt Fiddes and now works with more than 1,000 children each week through schools, after-school clubs and community classes across the UK. Its dance programme combines dance training with a strong focus on confidence, leadership, resilience and helping children feel part of a supportive community.
The programme is led by Head of MF Dance Tabitha Richardson, who joined the organisation in 2013 and opened its first dance school. She has since helped develop its structured programme and instructor training and now oversees 23 schools, while continuing to teach her own classes.

“What I love most about teaching is seeing the difference dance can make to children beyond simply learning routines,” said Tabitha. “Of course we want them to develop as dancers, but confidence, resilience, teamwork and giving children a real sense of achievement are just as important to us.
“It’s particularly rewarding to watch a child who may have been very quiet or nervous when they first joined gradually grow in confidence and become part of the group.”
Students also have the opportunity to work towards MF Dance’s own grading system and take part in shows, performances and larger MF Dance events. Those who want to progress further can also access its Elite programme, providing additional dance and performance opportunities.
Tabitha added, “We’re thrilled to bring MF Dance to Trowbridge. Our structured approach helps children build confidence, resilience and leadership skills that support them not just in dance, but in school and everyday life.
“We are excited to become part of the Trowbridge community.”
Parents have also highlighted the wider benefits of the programme.
One parent said, “MF Dance has given both my daughters the confidence and determination they need not just for dance, but for everything they face at school and personally.”
Free trial sessions are available for the new Trowbridge classes, with bookings now open at mfdance.co.uk.
