Families across Bath and North East Somerset are being invited to a new free event bringing local services, charities and community organisations together under one roof.
The Family Support and Inclusion Day takes place on Wednesday 14 October 2026 at the Apex City of Bath Hotel and is designed to help parents and carers find out more about the support available to them and their children.

Running from 9.30am-7pm, the event is open to parents, carers and professionals, with visitors welcome to drop in at any point during the day.
Whether families are looking for some friendly advice, wondering whether their child might benefit from extra help or simply want to find out more about local services, the day will offer the chance to meet organisations face-to-face and ask questions in a welcoming setting.
Importantly, families do not need a diagnosis or referral to attend.
Advice, information and free workshops
Alongside the opportunity to speak directly with local support services and organisations, there will be a programme of free workshops throughout the day, covering a range of subjects intended to help families feel more informed, supported and connected. The event is particularly aimed at making it easier for families who may not know where to begin when looking for help, bringing a wide range of information and expertise together in one place.
The Family Support and Inclusion Day is supported by B&NES Parent Carer Forum, SENDias Bathnes, Bath & North East Somerset Council and Live Well B&NES. Attendance is completely free and families will be able to pre-book a place or simply turn up on the day.
The event takes place at the Apex City of Bath Hotel, James Street West, Bath, BA1 2DA, on Wednesday 14 October from 9.30am-7pm.
