Children from schools across Bath and the surrounding area are invited to develop their kitchen skills at The Paragon’s Summer Cookery School.
The school is running three days of hands-on cooking and baking workshops during the summer holidays, open to children aged five to 11 from Reception to Year 6.
Each session will run from 9am until 3.30pm, with children creating a selection of sweet and savoury dishes under the guidance of experienced staff. All ingredients and equipment are provided and the young cooks will be able to enjoy their creations and take them home.
The workshops are designed to help children learn practical cooking techniques while developing their confidence and creativity. They also offer a sociable summer activity for children who already enjoy baking or would like to try something new.
Wednesday 19 August
Children will make a tomato and basil puff pastry tart alongside oat and honey muffins.
Thursday 20 August – sold out
The second workshop, featuring a zebra-style loaf cake and chocolate chip shortbread, is now fully booked.
Friday 21 August
The final workshop will see children create a classic banoffee pie and strawberry tartlets.
Each day costs £55 per child and places are limited.
