Bath College is set to host its annual Apprenticeships & Careers Fair later this winter, bringing together employers, students and families from across Bath and North East Somerset.
The event takes place at the Apex Hotel on 26 February, shortly after National Apprenticeship Week, and aims to help address regional skills shortages while opening up new career pathways.

Up to 85 local and national employers are expected to attend, representing sectors including engineering, business, construction, education, hair and beauty, accounting and sport.
Bath College anticipates welcoming more than 1,000 visitors, including its own students, pupils from local schools and members of the public exploring future training and career options.
By connecting employers directly with local talent, the fair aims to strengthen the regional workforce, support the local economy and help young people and career-changers understand the opportunities available through apprenticeships.
Ebner Heatly, Employer Engagement Manager at Bath College, said, “We’re excited to welcome 85 employers who are eager to meet and inspire the future workforce at this year’s Apprenticeship & Careers Fair. It’s an opportunity for people of all ages to explore the many career paths and apprenticeships available locally.”
She added, “Whether you’re starting out, looking to retrain, or simply curious about your options, the chance to speak directly with employers is invaluable. We’re proud to bring together talent and opportunity in Somerset.”
Adrian Carr, Partnership Manager at the Department for Work and Pensions, commented, “Apprenticeships are an opportunity to get real-world skills whilst getting paid, which can lead to sustainable employment. They also offer strong career progression pathways into advanced roles and promotion.”
The event is open to people of all ages, including parents supporting teenagers with post-16 choices, young adults considering apprenticeships and those looking to retrain.
Visitors can register in advance via Eventbrite.
