Stars of the Theatre Royal Bath pantomime paid a special festive visit to the Children’s Ward at Bath’s Royal United Hospital, spreading Christmas cheer to young patients and their families.
Cast members from The Further Adventures of Peter Pan: The Return of Captain Hook took time out from their performance schedule to meet children and thank staff at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.

Bath favourite Jon Monie, who plays Smee, was joined by Marcus J Foreman in the title role and Nickelodeon Jr star Holly Atterton, who plays Tinker Bell.
The trio chatted with patients, posed for photos and handed out goodie bags, before heading back to Theatre Royal Bath for the afternoon’s matinee.
Jon Monie, who is on track to reach an incredible 1,300 pantomime performances during the current run, said, “It was a huge pleasure to visit the Children’s Ward at the RUH and meet not just the children but the wonderful staff as well. It can be a particularly difficult time of year to be in hospital, and we wish all the children and members of staff the very best this festive season.”
Transport for the visit was provided by Berkeley Coach and Travel, while the goodie bags were donated by pantomime sponsors The Bird, Bath and Bath Carpets and Flooring.
The Further Adventures of Peter Pan: The Return of Captain Hook is running at the Theatre Royal Bath until Sunday 11 January 2026. Tickets are available via theatreroyal.org.uk or from the box office on 01225 448844.
