Sip, Savour and celebrate at the Autumn Wine & Drink Festival at Avon Valley Railway

Avon Valley Railway

Wine lovers and foodies alike are in for a treat this autumn, as the Avon Valley Railway Heritage Trust announces its Autumn Wine & Drink Festival at Bitton Station on Friday 3 October 2025, from 6-9:30pm.

This year’s festival promises to be broader and more exciting than ever before, with an extended range of wines from across the globe alongside offerings from local independent wine merchants and, for the very first time, a micro-brewery. Guests can also look forward to an array of gins, rums, liqueurs, craft beers, ciders and sparkling options to sample throughout the evening.

As always, the festival will shine a spotlight on local producers and traders, with trade stands showcasing delicious accompaniments including cheeses and other artisan treats. Guests will be served complimentary canapés during the evening, while the Station Buffet will remain open, offering a wide range of tasty foods and drinks.

Set against the charming backdrop of the 1869 railway station, the event is designed to be an enjoyable, sociable evening with a purpose – raising much-needed funds for the Avon Valley Railway.

Whether you’re a seasoned wine connoisseur or simply looking for a fun, flavour-filled evening in a unique historic setting, this is an event not to be missed. With the festive season just around the corner, it’s also the perfect chance to discover something new to stock up on before Christmas.
