After a hugely successful run of Open Days earlier this year, Bath Tennis Club is inviting members, families, and the local community to their AUTUMN Tennis FEST on Sunday, 14 September – and thanks to brand-new facilities, the fun will go ahead come rain or shine!

Tennis is a fantastic way to stay active, improve mental agility and meet new people, so this is the ideal chance to enjoy a great day out in the fresh air, right near Bath’s city centre.

Morning – Activities for club members and their families

From Noon – Open to all! Visitors can tour the club, meet members, and take part in fun, fast-paced cardio tennis and coaching sessions.

Mixed Doubles Tournament – Sign-up required (max 20 players, first come first served)

Food & Refreshments
The event is free to attend (with sign-up, subject to availability). From 1pm, enjoy a sizzling BBQ (£6pp), cider punch, homemade cakes from the club’s #VITALVOLUNTEERS, and fresh autumn fruit dishes. The bar will be open all day for a perfect mix of tennis and socialising.
A Club with History
Established in 1880, Bath Tennis Club is the oldest tennis club in the city and a proud not-for-profit community sports hub. A recent £120,000 investment has upgraded four hard courts, two Astro courts, and lighting, making it possible to play comfortably all year round.
“Tennis is often seen as a summer sport, but more and more people are playing right through the year,” says Club Manager Andrew Kettle. “This AUTUMN Tennis FEST is a brilliant way for new and existing members to enjoy the game, socialise, and celebrate the health benefits of tennis – whatever the weather.”
