Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity is proud to sponsor Bath Rugby, as the club celebrates its historic success at the Gallagher Premiership Final against Leicester Tigers at Twickenham.
This exciting collaboration comes at a time of immense pride for the city and its supporters, with the club securing an historic treble thanks to success in the Premiership Rugby Cup and the EPCR Challenge Cup this season.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance has a long-standing relationship with the club, with current Bath hooker Tom Dunn and former England international Matt Perry both serving as charity ambassadors.
The Charity’s deputy chief executive, Barbara Gray, said, “We’re incredibly proud of our associations with Bath Rugby, a club that shares our values of teamwork, resilience and community. Our ambassadors’ support helps us raise awareness and continue delivering lifesaving critical care across Wiltshire and Bath.”
The sponsorship will see increased visibility for the charity at Bath Rugby’s stadium, The Recreation Ground, helping raise awareness and vital funds to support its lifesaving work.
This week the Charity’s Bell 429 helicopter touched down at the Rec, as the aircrew passed on their congratulations following of Saturday’s victory.
Cameron Georgel, Business Development Executive at Bath Rugby, said, “It’s been a real privilege to work with Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance and support the incredible work they do for our region. The charity is an essential part of our community, and we’re proud to have their support as we head into such a special moment in our club’s history.”
