Schools, shops, businesses and charities across Trowbridge town centre will be displaying colourful flowers, door garlands, planters and eye-catching floral creations for this year’s Trowbridge Flower Festival.
The festival will launch on Tuesday 20 May to coincide with the start of the Chelsea Flower Show and continue throughout the summer.

Following the success of the 2024 Trowbridge Flower Festival, this year’s event will include a schools’ tallest sunflower and upcycled planter competition, artwork on a floral theme by local artists displayed in shop windows, flower-themed events including a summer Pimms and Prosecco evening and Open Gardens for residents.
The aim of the festival is to bring colour, nature and increased footfall to Trowbridge. The Trowbridge Chamber trails are always very popular and free Flower Festival maps will be available for residents and visitors of all ages to follow the floral safari and discover some of Trowbridge’s tucked away businesses, cafes and gardens.

The Festival will feature colourful window displays, floral sculptures, planters and a series of flower related events and other eco-activities throughout the summer. There will also be a competition for those who visit all the flower display locations on the trail maps.
Flower Festival judging will take place in June, with the best floral displays winning silver cups at a special prize-giving event in July. Other prizes include a children’s gardening set, a £200 Serenity Beauty voucher and a £100 voucher donated by Trowbridge Garden Centre, which is also offering special planters and discounts for participants.

Carey Tesler, Chair of the Trowbridge Chamber CIC, said, “Our County Town has over 360 listed buildings and has been regenerating at a fast pace. We are delighted to be organising another Flower Festival to bring together the local business community and promote a sense of wellbeing and fun for residents and visitors to Trowbridge with our exciting floral safari.”
Businesses and schools wishing to take part are asked to register by 10 May by emailing email hidden; JavaScript is required for a chance to feature on the Flower Festival trail maps.
