Puddle Ducks Bristol and Bath is celebrating the success of one of its team who has reached a milestone 10 years working with the local swim school.
Diana Heathcote from Trowbridge is now Head of Teaching at the swim school, but started her journey a decade ago as a baby and pre-school swim teacher. On the hunt for a role with a better work/life balance, she took the plunge and joined Puddle Ducks.
Commenting on her milestone, Diana said, “The last 10 years have flown by! I’ve loved teaching so many children from across the local community. I’ve worn many hats along the way, from teacher, to team leader, HQ Accreditor to now being Head of Teaching.
“It’s so rewarding seeing the little ones thrive in the water, but to also have the opportunity to travel around the country assessing new teachers is brilliant too. I get to ensure they reach our high standards of teaching, that then benefits the children in their lessons. I’m excited for what’s next!”
Owner of Puddle Ducks Bristol and Bath Sarah Austin, added, “It has been such a pleasure having Diana in our team over the past decade. She truly is a shining light who has developed and grown through various roles within the business.
“The enthusiasm and passion she brings to her current and past roles over last decade is inspiring and she is such an important part of Puddle Ducks Bristol and Bath”.
