Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the magic of the Bradford on Avon Green Man Festival this May. The vibrant, family-friendly community gathering features traditional dance, music, song and folklore throughout the town centre on Saturday 10 May 2025 (9.30am to 6pm). And the best part is, it’s free!

- Witness over 50 dance groups, including 500 dancers and 120 musicians, featuring Morris dancing and diverse European and African styles.
- Join the whimsical journey of our 10ft tall Jack in the Green and Jill in the Green on their travels to 12 town centre venues with bands and fantastic beasties.
- You can also enjoy the children’s fun zone and funfair, artisan markets, community hub and pagan arts and crafts.
- Groove to a samba band, watch a traditional mummers’ play, soak up the sounds of the Folk Club stage, Wiltshire Music Centre stage and Blues @ The Shoes stage, live pub music, buskers and more!

Every year the English folk festival brings guests from near and far to mark the changing of the seasons in Bradford on Avon, bringing a magical atmosphere to the whole town. There’s truly nothing quite like the Green Man Festival.
