King Edward’s School in both is running a Touch Type course and Easter Revision Courses, with all pupils from across the region welcome to take part.
KES Learn To Touch Type Course 2025
Monday 7th April – Thursday 10th April 2025
Join KES for its four-day Learn to Touch Type Programme which will run every day from Monday 7th April – Thursday 10th April 2025.
The world is moving forward with rapid improvements in the latest technology. The importance of computer skills is at an all-time high. One skill has become an ever-increasing attribute among students and in the workplace, the ability to touch type. Not only does it save students time, but also is the main form of written communication, both at university and in most workplaces.
King Edward’s School touch typing Easter course requires students to commit to spending four hours a day sat at a keyboard, for four days. Each hour will be interspersed with an opportunity to go outside to get some fresh air and exercise. Learning to touch type in this intensive way is proven to be far more effective than spasmodic attempts to conquer the skill. Teachers will be on hand to guide, monitor and support the students for the entirety of the course.
We are currently offering two courses:
- COURSE OPTION 1: Typequick for Students (11-14 years) @ £500
- COURSE OPTION 2: Typequick Professional (12+ years) @ £500
Open To All
Our Easter courses are open to all pupils; you do not have to attend King Edward’s in order to book a place.

KES Easter Revision Course 2025
Monday 7th April – Thursday 10th April 2025
Join in for the four-day GCSE & A-Level Easter Revision Programme which will run every day from Monday 7th April – Thursday 10th April 2025. Pupils can either sign up for two subjects (full-day), or one subject (half-day), with the focus specifically on GCSE and A-Level exam success. All courses will be based at the Senior School campus on North Road.
A-Level and GCSE students can choose up to two subjects.
Each subject course will run either as a morning (9-12 noon) or afternoon (1.00-4.00pm) session and will be limited to small class sizes to ensure that teachers can provide personalised 1:1 advice and tutoring. Participants will be able to purchase drinks and a light lunch from the on-site café.
Professional teaching staff
Professional teaching staff will be able to offer individual guidance and support, focusing on those demanding topics and difficult subject material throughout this revision period.

The Easter Revision Courses are open to all pupils; you do not have to attend King Edward’s in order to book a place.
