Pupils at St Michael’s Junior School in Bath have plenty to smile about recently when the owners of Bath Carpets and Flooring donated 15 tickets to the school to attend the Bath Theatre Royal pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
“As part of our sponsorship of the Theatre Royal pantomime, we agree every year to give out panto tickets to a worthy cause,” said BCF owner Steve White. “Last year was St Martin’s Garden Primary School, the year before was Three Ways school and this year we have chosen St Michael’s Junior school in Twerton Bath. It’s a great way for us to give back to the community and let children to experience the thrill of the theatre.
“This will be our third year sponsoring the Bath pantomime, which is always such a special experience for the families who are able to attend. However, this sort of activity does come at a price that not everyone can afford. As a result, it’s wonderful to be able to donate these tickets and give families a special night out and help to make great memories.
“For us, the best part of the Bath pantomimes at the Theatre Royal are the golden double act of Jon Monie and Nick Wilton! These two are amazingly funny and how they get the crowd involved, with their jokes and singalongs, just makes for absolutely amazing performances.”
