Flourish launches £3 children’s meals for the summer

Families can enjoy £3 children's breakfasts and lunches throughout the summer holidays at Flourish Foodhall & Kitchen in Saltford and Norton St Philip.

Families looking to keep the cost of eating out down this summer can take advantage of a new offer at Flourish Foodhall & Kitchen, where children’s meals will cost just £3 throughout the school holidays.

The ‘Kids Eat for Three’ initiative is available at both Flourish locations in Saltford and Norton St Philip for children under the age of 12, with more than 10 breakfast and lunch dishes included in the offer.

The menu features a range of family favourites including scrambled egg on toast, beans on toast, Flourish bolognese and margherita pizza, all made using quality ingredients. Children can also enjoy a Summer Lunch Deal for £6.50, which includes a lunch dish, a juice carton and a homemade cookie from the Flourish Production Kitchen.

The offer has been introduced as part of the Great British Summer Savings Scheme, with the reduction in VAT on children’s meals allowing Flourish to pass the saving directly on to families.

Paul Castle, Managing Director of Flourish, said: “The latest cost of living crisis has been tough on local families and hospitality venues. By reducing the VAT on children’s meals, the summer savings scheme has allowed us to pass on that saving to our customers and give parents the opportunity to enjoy quality food at a lower cost.”

Flourish first opened at Glenavon Farm in Saltford in 2021 as a destination focused on great food, shopping and sustainability. Since then, the business has expanded to include its Home & Lifestyle store, Pottery Painting Barn and a second Foodhall & Kitchen at Farleigh Road, Norton St Philip, which opened in late 2024.

Earlier this year, Flourish also opened its own Production Kitchen, creating homemade favourites including scotch eggs, sausage rolls, cakes and cookies using locally sourced ingredients to supply both venues.

The £3 children’s meals offer began on 25 June and will run throughout the summer holidays, giving families an affordable way to enjoy breakfast or lunch together.
