The Paragon School in Bath has appointed Malcolm Bond as its permanent Head, who will be taking up the post in January 2026. He succeeds Rosie Allen following a highly competitive recruitment process.
Malcolm brings extensive experience in independent education. He joined Prior Park College in 2012 and has progressed through a series of leadership roles, most recently serving as Assistant Head Co-curricular and a member of the senior leadership team.
David Catlow, Chair of Trustees, said, “Mr Bond brings energy, experience and a genuine commitment to nurturing every child’s potential, and we are confident this will be an exciting chapter for both pupils and staff.”
The Paragon School, part of the Prior Park Schools family, is known for its warm community, outstanding pastoral care and strong academic and co-curricular opportunities, all underpinned by values of kindness, compassion, honesty, self-belief and aspiration.
Malcolm said, “I am thrilled to become the permanent Head of The Paragon. This is a school with a huge heart, and I feel proud to step into this role.” He added that both The Paragon and Prior Park have been an important part of his family’s life, saying it is a privilege to give back to a place that has given them so much.
