Families in Bradford on Avon can look forward to new play equipment at Poulton Park, with the second phase of improvements starting on Monday 6 October — a little earlier than expected.
Thanks to good weather and favourable ground conditions, the works are set to be completed in just two to three weeks.
The latest phase of the upgrade will see the addition of:
-
a new climbing frame designed for younger children, complete with a smaller slide
-
two trampolines
-
a twisted rope net for climbing
-
traditional monkey bars.
While the work is being carried out, the play area will be closed. The council has apologised for any disappointment caused, but stresses that the end result will be worth the short wait.
The improvements follow the first stage of upgrades earlier this year, with the aim of making Poulton Park an even more exciting and inclusive space for children of all ages.
