Corsham’s beloved half-term family festival of the arts returns for the May half-term for a week jam packed with fantastic artistic events for the whole family to enjoy.
Pound Arts has some sensation live shows for children, including SK Sholomo’s Beatbox Adventure For Kids, featuring world-famous beatbox artist SK Shlomo; Four Seasons, a beautifully told love letter to the natural world aimed at pre-schoolers; and Shoe Baby, the magical puppet theatre show from award-winning children’s theatre company Long Nose Puppets.

In the evenings, there’s plenty for grown-ups to look forward to as well. This kicks off the week with Frankenstein (on a budget) the hilarious new theatre show in which one man attempts to tell Mary Shelly’s epic in under an hour using sets and props primarily composed of cardboard. There’s also sensational live music from Phill Beer, Martin Harley, Lowri Evans and Simione Walker.

Throughout the week there will also be hosting a series of joyous arts and crafts workshops for children, teens and adults, as well as several film screenings, including Paddington in Peru, Wicked and the recent nature documentary Six Inches of Soil.
It promises to be a truly wonderful week here at The Pound – fingers crossed we get blue skies!
