SUMMARY:Frome Children's Festival
DESCRIPTION:The festival will be at Cheese and Grain\, the Market carpark\, Welshmill Woods and Park play-area\, Roundhouse and garden with a huge variety of activities to appeal to all ages. Starting with the town crier and a procession from The Street Bandits\, performances from Jellyfish Theatre\, magic shows\, circus entertainment and workshops from Children’s World and Devitos Circus\, storytelling and the chance to record music in the professional Bert Jansk recording studio. There will also be basketball\, boccia and BMX\, yoga\, climbing wall\, giant games\, bushcraft\, willow weaving\, nature pursuits with Shared Earth Learning and Twinnies Petting Farm with alpacas\, pony grooming\, pygmy goats\, lambs\, rabbits and guinea pigs. There will also be face-painting\, adventure play\, balloon-modelling\, biscuit-decorating and a reading tent. In the Cheese and Grain with glitter tattoos\, art\, craft and scrapstore fun\, boardgames and a sensory chillout space. \n\nThe event is coordinated by Purple Elephant\, a charity focusing on supporting families facing any kind of disadvantage\, supported by volunteers\, local artists and businesses\, charities\, partners and young people from Frome.
